there would have been a collision for the Twin Screw Steamer

Sui Tai' 238 feet long, swinging with her helm hard aport would have struck with her port quarter the "Tavy II" but this was not so the s/s "Sui Tai" passed ahead with a good clearance, and there was no risk of collision.

My Committee therefore respectfully request that firm action be taken to have this Case removed from the records and the good name of Commander T. Pritchard, R.D., R.N.R., (Rtd), restored.
